I also have a theory that the only reason Sabre cares is because nobody messes with flica alerts anymore since they are useless in these C4C days. Check 4 change is free and is the only way to have a chance at getting something. Flica alerts just tell you what you missed. So their revenue was hit...so they want to eliminate C4C and want more people to do alerts again. Maybe a bandwidth issue too. Just my little conspiracy.

I thought people just had their ipads open while watching TV or maybe had family members helping out but, nope, seems there is bots. I did the staring at the ipad thing for about a week and said f this, hello reserve.
However you can legally use this Check For Change program, but as I understand this, you still have to sit and manually click refresh or am I wrong? Because if this person averaged more than one click per second that means they have something auto refreshing many times per second because they obviously can't be sitting at their computers 24/7? What am I missing here?

But you can sit and manually refresh, until your brain explodes, then you can't. Takes just over a week.

And now that joke of a fuqing email that out system chief puts out. We found that someone’s kid had inadvertently put a program on the family computer that was refreshing Flica? What, the kid was running Nox for Flica refresh? 😂 This place is unreal

I saw the Chief pilot email just now too: "If you are identified as having one of these programs, FLICA will advise your Chief Pilot and they will reach out to you to provide you with an opportunity to remove it prior to deactivation of your account."
So in other words, "keep doing what you're doing and when you get caught we'll politely ask you to stop."
This thing stinks....

At least now it’s officially prohibited. But there is no threat of termination, just that you will get a warning to remove it before flica privileges are suspended. The honest guys will not be using it anymore. It will just make it easier for the usual suspects.

It’s a lot of mixed messages. A few months ago I believe, one of the LEC’s came out and said the use of C4C is legal because any trip still has to be manually picked up. After that there was a large uptick in C4C usage. Now the company saying that anyone that’s been using C4C or any other refresh program before wasn’t playing fairly....which I don’t agree with. I know several people that started using C4C recently who’s moral compass I would never question. If you never communicate that it’s wrong, how are they supposed to know? No one knows the Flica terms of service besides full blown bot usage.
