Congratulations. That’s not the norm.
Other airlines pay above guarantee for ALL pick ups, not just the 1 in 500 that you have to babysit Flica for.
Further, SWA pays you above guarantee for getting called out while ON reserve!

I could be wrong, but I believe Frontier and SWA let you pick up on days off if you’re RSV, I think the others don’t.

At Endeavor, all open time was 150%, above guarantee, even on reserve.

My old regional had it too (AWI). That had a pretty good contract (at the time) and great health insurance. Although they had this one provision I never understood, where if you called in sick they would take away any premium time you picked up that month.

Yup, I did seven years at Whiskey a long time ago... to this day I worry about calling in sick and losing premium time ;D

Nope, can’t pick up over reserve. Also, if you pick up on your days off you work for free.

I agree with you that I would love to see all flying picked up on days off above guarantee. Sounds like something for us to negotiate for next year when negotiations begin.. However the premium time pickup is a major improvement over the old PEA days...
