If the boards fiduciary duty is to the shareholders, you would think merger would have to be on the table in the next 24 months.. We can only bleed for so long. Whether anyone wants us is an entirely different story, or even is allowed to. I thought on a call a few months back, they mentioned they might be "raising capital" in Jan/Feb, which I'm sure coupled with our Q4 earnings will send the stock tumbling. I'd love to know what the board actually thinks, seems like we don't hear much from them.

But as it's been said already, we cannot continue on like this. If there's no profit or break even in any of 2026, I think we'll be entering a spiral that will only be fixed with restructuring. I wish we had real management that has real vision like the big guys have.

Merger with who though? I just do not see any of the big 3 happening. IMO none of them need us, so why go through the trouble. United sees something in us otherwise they wouldn't partner with our brand, but I can't imagine a full blown merger/acquisition happens with them. AK/HA are doing their own thing. Southwest is trying to rebrand themselves as well and enter the premium space so it could be an option. Frontier/Spirit are already dancing partners, and then there's Breeze, which does nothing for us except give us more 220s.

But yeah I honestly CANNOT wrap my head around the fact there has been no lawsuit, no outcry, not a single story regarding the fact our stock has plummeted far more than any other airline in our category. Spirit and frontier don’t count. How can the BODs and large shareholder be so complacent? No other job in corporate America would be okay with this happening unless you’re the next Amazon. And we are a 25 year established airline.
