Well the metropolitan area has about 20 million people who might want to travel soon. My guess is that many of the caribbean destinations become quite popular once they open up. Those VFR customers are very accustomed to traveling to their islands multiple times a year, and I can't blame them..why wouldn't you with $400 RT tickets? If you've been traveling back to the DR 3 times a year for the last 10 years it has become part of your lifestyle. Good for us.

There’s nothing scary in the email. Perhaps it’s a wake up call to a very small minority who think things will be the same come this fall. Prepare to make less money as compared to last year. You’ll either be flying fewer hours or face a change in seat or aircraft...and for those on the bottom of the list a furlough.

Perhaps said pilot with a different mental paradigm than you took those 8 words and made a specious but sardonic jab. Perhaps it’s ALPA’s tone that’s doom and gloom. Email seemed overly dramatic. Just a thought. And it was more than 8 words.

The lack of communication in NYC has been astounding, and the finger can be pointed directly at one person. At least Massachusetts is doing really well lately.
