You must have the wrong guy. You have some facts to back that up before you “slam” me? I’ve always thought this event will end up in furloughs. My post history is public, go look for yourself.

Here I’ll help you out Bozo. From April 1st. I’m one of about two dozen pilots on the seniority list that got bumped from the 190 to Airbus after already completing five weeks of training and OE, so don’t act like I’ve got my head in the sand.

' finding ways to do more with less'.

So you're saying there's a chance in the future for the Short Call Reserve grid to be green?

( even though SCR doesn't have colors, but you get my point)

Right? I mean, if you don't plan to fly 45 mins past the destination, what's the point?

I'm thinking the new planned EFOB should be taxi-in fuel plus 5 mins contingency fuel in case the jetway power doesn't work?

I'm in the pool so on the outside looking in trying to follow along.
A company email today - for everyone except Pilots and FAs – announcing voluntary extended time off and separation programs. The gist of it was hopefully enough people take these offers or layoffs will happen. The idea behind the time off programs is the company can recall people quickly if business picks up…which seems good since it must mean they think there’s a decent chance of that happening? Programs for pilots are expected anytime…

We also know they were going to offer voluntary leaves for several weeks now.
same thing they do during any negotiations...they post propaganda to remind you that they are hanging on by a thread...we make way to much money, and we (the firm) needs you ( pilots) to give us contract relief ( firm wants it all)

Thanks for the info. I’m a March 18 CJO poolie so trying to make it work until the schoolhouse starts taking newbs again. Any information is helpful as I try to navigate that path.
