We haven’t seen a massive displacement like the bigger airlines yet, but a lot of them have close to a dozen fleet types to sort through. I’m sure there will be some furloughs especially with our biggest domicile taking forever to reopen. Probably enough furloughs where we can snap back pretty quickly if they see some opportunities on the other side.

Yes you will, because we are pilots and it’s what we do

Watch, you'll get displaced into 320 CA and have to go through the whole course again

I wouldn’t be surprised to see the 190s disappear. I think the only reasons that they haven’t is because they couldn’t them. That’s like 900 pilots .

If they plan to continue the “social distancing” on an airplane farce, then yes I could see the 190’s going away.

I saw an interview with Oscar Munoz recently. He was asked about social distancing. He said that if the plane becomes more than 75% full (I believe was the number), then United contacts the customer to let them know. They then have the ability to change their flight at no additional charge. I believe he said they use their app to contact the customer. We should do something similar.

Can they incorporate that into the JetCrew app, so when they leave my a$$ behind because of a “full” capped flight I can tell scheduling to positive space me or I’m not coming to work.

Exactly. Why hamstring ourselves with ‘capped’ flights. We need to fill these planes up ASAP. Just give people the option to take a different flight. I’d like to think the whole Covid fear mongering is starting to waver anyway. We’ve seemed to have moved on to our next crisis.
