I knoticed a few 320 lines that have BTV turns out of JFK. Havent looked closely at others, but guessing there are many other 190 turns that are now on 320

Glad they recently sent about two dozen who already finished Airbus training or close to it back to the 190 with the System Bid cancellation. I guess I don’t see the big picture.

That is what is stipulated in the CBA correct?! Irony not withstanding.

I would think most pilots go to training for a higher paying position. If they are going to carry dead weight for a while, probably want to carry less of it.

BOS-DCA will be 4x A320, instead of the usual 15 daily e190. Also several other cities that get multiple daily 190 service are going to 1-2 daily A320, like BOS-PIT/CLE/CLT/ORD/RDU/etc

Wow. I just scrolled through BOS 190 pairings for July and was shocked at how little flying there is. EWR, SYR, JFK, ACK, MVY, PHL, ORH makes up 90% of the flying. This looks like the 190s will be parked permanently...

In theory it makes sense, but a lot of us are sitting around at that higher rate doing nothing for 80 hours for a little while longer. Finding a 190 CKA to do a quick line check on you is a tough task these days.

I’d do SYR BUF ROC BTV in a heartbeat rather than the transcon redeyes. They just killed me when I factored in a commute on both ends. Back to “Jetblue special massage, forty dollars cash for you,” in SDQ I guess...

Yes, there are several special circumstances like you point out, including a good friend. But overall I think much cheaper for them.
