LGB done Nov 7th according to every other forum/FB group. Hopefully they shift some north/south flying to LAX and keep it a base if that’s true.

I read that on airliners this morning. Sounds like just rumor for now.

The JB FB wives page is very entertaining. Some senior pilot wife (husband been here 16 years) feels it’s necessary to lecture and belittle all the others on a daily basis, as if their husband is fresh out of flight school. She’s a self proclaimed expert on union business, commuting, bidding, furlough strategy, and career counseling as well. The rest of the time it’s photos of how the Mrs. is spending your money. It gave me an entirely new perspective on those guys that need 125hrs credit to break even. Momma is living large while you’re running the red eye to SDQ.

Makes sense jb’s been pulling back from LGB for a while now, especially after the customs fiasco + SW moving in. I thought I heard on one of the zoom calls, that there may be a way to more slots in LAX for jb.
