So one bad decision means we continue that way? Yes it’s a **** CBA that I voted no to, btw. As crazy as it seems getting time off when needed at b6 is actually very good. Keep going this way and it will be impossible. Just watch what happens during the next downturn.

It’s the same guys that complain about not being able to drop stuff because the reserve grid doesn’t allow it. I know for June in BOS the grid was red/black before the first Pu/drop window even opened. They actually ran negative reserve numbers with the bid results. It was contract compliant in the end, but way short on planned reserve and in no way how an airline should be run. They got plenty of helpers to help them about with daily RSAs and VDAs, so why have more reserve. In the end, it hurts everyone but our group isn’t smart enough to realize that.
Your last sentence says "everyone" and "group". The guys doing this don't care about the group or everyone. They care about themselves.

Go ask Delta pilots about their green slips and other above standard rate pay options they have, and take advantage of. Are they an idiotic group too?

Please. Go take your self-righteous BS someplace else.

Go ask them how they voted down a TA because management was going to slash their profit sharing. Ask them how many pickets and gatherings they had during their last vote. Ask them about their staffing and reserve rules. Of course every airline has some sort of incentive or premium pay. They negotiated that! We basically just “codified” the FSM.

I get it. Trust me, as a No voter, I get it. Pilot unity during a contract negotiation is a different discussion than people picking up trips to better their income and QOL during the middle of their CBA period.

Same guys don’t do RSA’s or VDA’s during labor dispute but pick up to 100 hours of credit. But it’s ok because they 3 engine taxi.

.....Keep thinking your logic is beneficial for the long term health of your career. Been proven otherwise time and again.

This whole logic screams you have no clue how this whole labor union stuff works. Especially under our rules. maybe figure out the rules then talk.

Oh, sweet Hayzoos, here we go....

Because that's all that matters, right? No one except you cares about the pilot group.
Can you please show us all your pay stub which details how you share your earnings with your fellow pilots?
