JetBlue Latest and Greatest

I think that's what many of the junior guys are doing.
I think I've worked with you before, and if you are who I think you are, you are a really great guy and a good captain.
It's easy to get caught up typing angry on the internet. What makes it worse, is you clearly love it here and want to defend the company and company culture. I simply want the best compensation, and growth opportunities for my family. I really could care less about fun, how great the crews are (yes, no where else will have crews as great as here). But, for me it's a numbers game. If our total compensation surpases DL/UA/AA, I'll stay. If not, I'll go to where I'm compensated the best.

No matter how you slice it advancement opportunities will be better at any of the big 3 than they are here. And if flying a widebody isn't for you, at the big 3 those senior to you would tend to go to widebody flying which creates an opening on a narrow body. All those senior to you at JB will stay on the 320, slowing your progression.
And, do you really believe that we will get a contract that reflects what the pilots at the big 3 get?
Good luck with your decision.

Putting the British empire back together. I still wouldn't be shocked
If we merge and launch flights to Europe we are an overnight a "real" airline (just talking about places we go this "real" airline talk is not based on compensation, I am also not defending the company or our ELT #bluebriverdonthate #tryingtonotdefend
Aslo just my opinion and does not reflect anyone else here at JetBlue aka jetblew or any other variation)

This is like watching baby bird try to fly. Sooo much flapping no flying.
Even when the contract is in place here and we are still 25% short of the top three, everyone is still going to be flapping their wings and still not fly away.
Move along or grab your popcorn, let the union tell you want to do next, enjoy the show. pretty sure 3000 pilots here can easily be hired at DAL Unical and Americanairways.
It's kind of stupid for you to not put your stuff out to anyone. If I was a big wig, I'd be scooping up everyone from jetblue that applied. Here's some cool aid, drink it while we slowly deplete jetblue of their pilots.

Just like the American Airlines BRAT PACK of the 80's, JB CEO Robin Hayes and HA CEO Mark Dunkerly are boys from BA.
Just like Doug Parker and Tom Horton. Except with a British accent.
I'm sure they've had a couple of Martini's shaken, not stirred talking about the "synergies" of merging JB and HA.
A321 NEOs coming to both airlines, B717s and EMB 190s getting old, A330s that JB services at JFK plus the code share.
Established Pacific market from HA servicing the west coast and JFK. Established East coast market from JB servicing Latin America and possibly Europe makes for a great combination.
All we need now is a Midwest A320 airline (Frontier) to tie it all together.
The question will be. Who will take the $30 million golden parachute and who will have the ego to run the 4th or 5th largest Legacy airline in the USA.
By the way, please wear the ALPA lanyard and support the MEC. We are way behind our peers in compensation.

Couple more kicks in the balls for JetBlue!
Missed opportunity for us I feel like!

And if you thought Delta was going to make it easy for us in ATL...
JetBlue unhappy with gate position at Hartsfield-Jackson
