Cool now everyone has lower than market base pay.

Nice work!

Only in BlueJet world does selling PTO count and not count at the same time.
You're a moron. I never suggested anything of the sort.

You may have not suggested it but that is the natural consequence of your position.

BTW, $218 an hour plus selling the PTO you don't use = nearly DAL 2017 base rate.

The only way this math doesn't square is if you and the company doesn't count $47,000 in PTO sales as money.

With 1500 CA this could reach $70 million a year that we have to pretend does not exist.

No one is advocating setting a new standard. Meeting the standard isn't impossible. And currently we are far from the new standard set by SWA/UAL/DAL.

If by "a few" you mean a metric f*ck-ton, then I whole heartedly agree.

I'd be fine with either system. Whatever the majority of the group wants is what we'll get. But just so everyone here is 100% clear, selling back PTO at 150% benefits the company way more than the pilot group. So if they'd like to keep it than can negotiate for it.

Greater the PTO accrual with PTO sale the lower base rates will be.

We'll just have to disagree.
If JB stands a chance of attracting and maintaining pilots for the planned growth all aspects of pilot QOL and pay must increase. Call me optimistic.
