It will be 2-3yrs until LGB customs facility is open for business, and that's assuming everything goes smoothly.
I suppose the LGB increases mean we will start using all of our slots out there so that SWA can't get any more given to them.

Didn't we argue this once? I think you were the guy ready to go in and say leave the 190 where it is and go for the bus pay. Now that could be what ends up happening but that's now how we should start off, unless thats how you like to negotiate. As others guys have said there are far to many guys just willing to let the 190 pay go right at the start. I think that's dumb.

Hey I'm with you on the best pay rates but I also know how pay rates were established decades ago by ALPA, NMB and the ATA. Some cargo carriers do have single rates for pay no matter the aircraft but they are the exception and they aren't ALPA.

I'm not saying we should or shouldn't pay more for the 190. I'm saying based on the expectation management being distributed by our OWN guys, don't expect much of a pay increase, if any.

This is a familiar conversation, yes. There's a reason JB ALPA guys didn't include any 737s on the comparison guide. The only plane in the group that pays higher than our 190 is Delta's 717.

Don't forget the CS100. 108 seats. Delta TA Pro/Con Look at 2017/2018/2019 rates. That is the valid comparison. And FYI in 2019 the top CS100 captain pay will be $262. Top 320 pay will be $274. Do you see a big disparity between the two? I don't either. So why should we have a big disparity (greater than 10%) between our 190 and 320? Please keep citing the NMB and ALPA as the reason, because DAL works under the same union/rules as we do. Or compare us to other 190s that don't/won't exist.
And BunkerF16 says?
Great points thanks for saving me the typing.
Don't leave any plane behind, next thing you know we will stop the 320s and start getting a ton of e190 v2
