I’m still carrying my passengers. You're carrying my 1,605 brothers and sisters (that were furloughed today) passengers.

How’s that when the deal hasn’t yet been approved or implemented? Seems jetblue is carrying nothing but jetblue pax, and AA and Alaska, oh and envoy Piedmont PSA Mesa SkyWest and republic (did I forget anymore?) are carrying your pax? Nice mental gymnastics holding ill-will toward jetblue when I’d say AA’s (lack of) scope is to blame for your outsourced flying, when jetblue isn’t even approved to do any, yet AA management (not JB management, not JB pilots) just put 1605 AA pilots on the street. You may also wanna look at your pilot group and union for failing to mitigate furloughs. Depending on your politics maybe the federal government as well.

So to recap: there are a lot of parties who could take some blame for AA furloughs (well just one made the decision-AA mgmt, but others could be linked to potentially saving them as I said above), but jetblue pilots aint one of them. Nothing JB pilots did or could have done would make a lick of a difference to the outcome of AA’s furloughs today.

Sucks. Two of my good friends just got the axe at AA (and two at HAL). It’s personal to me. But there is no valid jetblue blame for it. Lash out elsewhere.

HAHA sure, you’re delusional, 1,605 your union and senior greedy pilots didn’t care to keep!

I think we should just start ignoring Al. He's just spewing nonsense in order to drag us all down. It's been addressed and no one else seems concerned besides him.

I know we all feel pretty happy about where we sit but May 1 is right around the corner and we could very much be on the street. So keep that in mind before we stoop down to his level. Right now, we are all along for the ride while each management team decides what their best play is. What's great today, could be crap tomorrow. Forget Al, and let's move on.

I am 100% counting on being furloughed May 1st. And possibly not even having a JetBlue to come back to. Nobody really knows how this is going to play out. One of my very best friends was just furloughed starting today. I feel like I’m just ‘living on borrowed time’ for now.

i don’t work for JetBlue but I’d be shocked if B6 did not survive this. They might merge with someone but to outright cease to exist would probably mean only Southwest and 1 or 2 other airlines survives this. Maybe I’m misguided, but I work for Delta and I think we have a better chance of going TU than you guys, and I’m fairly confident we (DL) will survive one way or another.

I don’t believe any airline is going to cease to exist. If anyone does, it’s us.

I think AA is most likely to go through Ch11, but no way Ch7 happens. If AA does go through BK you will come out as the leanest and meanest carrier able to compete with everyone. Kind of the opposite scenario of the last BK round where AA was last to declare.

I think that taught us, and everyone else a lesson. If anyone declares, everyone will. Levels the playing field.
