If the new CBA comes out and says that pilots don't have to clean, ever, well, that's a new policy, isn't it?

Pilots shouldn't be cleaning. FAs shouldn't be cleaning. Non-revs shouldn't be cleaning.
Cleaners should be cleaning.

Personally, I prefer cleaning to having to pay an annual fee like I did at my last company. I found the fee to be much more offensive. Accordingly, I don't like the Mint policy, either.
Cleaning benefits the people who actually hauled my butt somewhere, and makes their day easier. It takes a few minutes, and is a small price to pay for a free ride, and hopefully, good service.
On the other hand, paying an annual fee only benefits the company.

I completely agree! Doesn't matter if the FAA didn't include SICs in the language. The company can/should give the SIC the same right to decline to EXTEND without having to call fatigued.

This entire thread, Southerner and Hyperboy make me need eight hands for all the face-palming required. So embarrassing and infuriating and embarrassing. And embarrassing.
I really hope our CBA says a pilot is NEVER required or expected to clean.

Are you serious? You've got to be kidding. How much money do you think the company is saving by using the FA's and non revs as cleaners? You think is more offensive to pay a small fee for non Reving versus cleaning? Waoooo. You contradict yourself. You really think you're helping someone by helping clean? You're benefiting the company more by cleaning versus paying a small fee. They don't have to hire cleaners because they have you and hyperboy. You've got to be out of your mind. Wtffff is wrong with you ? And what's

Southerner, so embarrassing. You also present a false choice. You seem to suggest that it is either free pilot janitor or small fee for non-rev priveleges. There is a perfectly logical third option. The ones my peers at DL, AA and UAL have. I expect that option.
Dumpster dive if you want. I won't say I don't care, but you at least need to stop defending the expectation that pilots clean, even for non-rev. Our peer MAJOR-airline pilots do not have this requirement. End of discussion.
