Again there you go, I'm stupid and not logical and I guess you are smart and logical. Look man on most things we agree and I have been clear about that. But if I am asked about what it's like on the line I am not going to say it's all negative because I don't experience that, maybe you do. Now I didn't say your views were not valid you just have a different experience on the line vs me. That is my issue with you. It is like the military captains I would fly with (of all people) telling me my opinions about some of ALPAS flaws (I voted yes btw)were not valid because I came from a regional. It's just an easy way to control a conversation and shut down an argument. So are hashtags, cute names "bluejoe" and making me own stuff that I have never said. Honestly these are very effective techniques, it would be fun to chat in person one day over some bourbon.

I'll ask you your question in reverse. Why isn't JB management negotiating more like Spirit and Frontier? By all accounts, we are making significantly more progress with much more to accomplish than they do.
And to answer Bozo's question......I have always believed we don't work for an airline...we work for a PR firm that flies aircraft. They're much more worried about their status and what people think of them......our management will be CRUSHED when we don't win the JD Powers award this year....and I'm pretty sure we won't......
So imagine their horror when a bunch of pilots are walking around in circles in front of major airports on BOS, NY, FLL, MCO, LA and plastered on papers and television sets across these areas........I'm not sure our leaders are excited about that prospect...
They know what our contract is going to cost.......they have the $ to pay it......we're getting closer.......this summer/fall will be telling.....fleet review.....321LR decision......contract impasse or TA.......
For those who are looking for our NC to bring back a TA that is substandard/below market rate.....I'm convinced it will not happen.....
BL is, even if we just copied/pasted DL's contract and replaced Delta with jetBlue, there would still be reasons for they bottom of our seniority list to jump to legacy carriers....more stability, more fleet/location options, faster upgrades.......so if you're looking for reasons to leave, they'll always be there.....my hope is that with the new contract, fleet replacement and additions that there will be more reasons to stay.....

If you're traveling as a non-rev, yes. If you're working or a DH, no. At least, I've never seen anything in the FOM instructing working crew to clean.
A non-rev policy is fine. If I travel for free, I'm happy to clean since it's a benefit and I don't have to pay exorbitant annual fees like Delta does. But that's a different animal from being forced to clean as a part of your job.

We're NOT "the help."

Pilots aren't required to clean. Never have. It's not a job description and never will be.
When you're riding the airplane for free, as an employee, you are. You're not using your pilot benefits, you're using employee benefits. This is an important distinction.
This is why ALPA can't grieve the conditions to non-rev, or it would have by now. It's not under their scope.
