Recognize your own stockholm syndrome, sitting and complaining at a place you don't want to be, but still staying.

If he was at Delta, AA, Fed Ex, etc, he'd still be *****ing. Coming from Mesa, he has no right to ***** about anything here.

He has every right to ***** and we have no obligation to listen. Having only one or two of those guys is pretty good. If he makes you feel bad try visiting the JetBlue forum for some perspective. That type of negativity is the norm.

Yes he does have every right to his opinion. He would also be wise to remember that lots of ex-Kalitta pilots are at the few remaining companies he wants to work at and has not yet interviewed at. Several of them are now managment or check airman. Many of those pilots have friends still at Kalitta or fond memories of there time at K4 and won't look favorably on someone trashing it or especially Connie. Connie has an ability that very few employers have. He can look you in the eye and call you names, fire you and rehire you the next day, drag out negotiations for years and other things on and on and still engender loyalty from his employees. I believe it's mostly because what you see is what you get. There is very little subterfuge with him. " I'll screw you, you'll screw me. It'll all come out in the wash". I love it here. Most of us do.

Turns out I know the poster pretty well
I always enjoy flying with you
If this place is not for you - you should absolutely move on
We only get to do this once, there are no do overs
Hopefully when your all checked out in the left seat you'll get the chance at the job you really want
Good luck

Have you spent a little time looking internally at why you have been rejected by at least one major and can’t get a call from others? Could it possibly be that you have “I am too good for this place” syndrome and people who know you have put the word out at other airlines?

Best piece of advice I ever got... "Be careful about stepping on fingers climbing the ladder, they may very well be attached to the ass you are kissing on the way down"

Sad that this individual doesn't appreciate the opportunity he has there and has been looking to move on since day one of training with that, as I said before, "I am too good for this place" mentality.
