What are lineholders typically crediting? Guarantee only or is it typically higher?

The triple does the pacific circle right now (LAX, Sydney, Singapore, Hong Kong, LAX) and is in the DHL network so it has a very limited number of places it will go. The 74 goes everywhere.

I bid 70 hour credit lines and end up with about 100.

1. the traditional idea of lineholder/reserve does not exist here. Yes there are lines with trips on them and there reserve lines but no matter what you bid or are awarded you can expect it to deviate just about every time.

2. right now, most 747 pilots are exceeding guarantee but never count on that as it can all change tomorrow.

Thanks for the responses. I'm looking at Kalitta vs. Atlas in terms of 'take home pay' and it seems heavily slanted toward K4 -- rates are one thing, but actual credit matters. Atlas work rules (i.e. lack thereof) has virtually zero pay protection so monthly guarantee is a pretty regular occurrence.

I’ve been averaging about 100 hrs a month this year on the 777. It does vary depending if your bidding high, mid or low on the seniority list. The 777 can be a tough schedule on the pacific or it could be really easy if you get stuck doing domestic CVG, LAX, ANC.

On the 777 we tend to actually fly our lines (COVID sick calls affecting that some right now), vs the 400 you might fly your entire line once in two years. Mix of lines in the 70-95 hour credit. Throw in a few overlapping carry-in days from the precious month over RSV days bid in the following month and doing well over guarantee isn’t hard. Of course can change anytime and I always plan my budget well within guarantee, but for now with at least two more 777s on the way it’ll be like this for at least a few months

Fleet is going more seinor, and will be interesting how this next 400/777 CA vacancy bid goes
