#1...I NEVER said every PILOT wants to come back. I said every pilot that I've talked too. Obviously I can't or haven't talked to everyone. But I have talked to enough to know that there seems to be more that are happy and/or satisfied with their situations than disgruntled ones. #2....If you're so unhappy...LEAVE! I'm thankful for my union but at the same time I am not that naive to believe they ALWAYS have our best interests or are ALWAYS telling us the truth. The company we fly for is not perfect....no company is. But I can guarantee it's not everything that the union says it is AND we could be flying for companies that are worse. Are there things that need improving? Hell yeah. All I'm saying is the union & Kalitta needs to be completely honest with us (if that's even a thing), and I know for a FACT, they are not being 100% honest, set greed/egos aside and get this deal done!

Yeah, well when you have multiple DUIs, are a registered sex offender, or dont have a high school diploma, you are going to say you are happy because Kalitta is it for you. There are a few older guys that have unique living situations that make Kalitta the best option. I would say that most normal guys there want to leave if they can.

Since you have put this out there, please enlighten all of us of the "facts" you claim to know about the union not being 100% honest. Specifics please.

Here is a simple fact that illustrates the level of "happiness" in the work environment at K4. Mind you, the following factual statement was made in Feb. 2015 so the level of contentment here , over a year of contentious negotiations later , is probably not as good now as it was then.

FACT: When asked how training/hiring was going the Director of Flight Training stated " Well, we hired and trained 55 guys last year, and 56 people have left. So, uh...well, we're one behind."

This is not "what ,so and so,told me" or rumor based on crew room babble.

It is First Person.

I asked the question and, I heard the answer ( among others ).

SO...There is a simple FACT from which you all may draw your own conclusions as to the condition of Work Environment / Labor Relations as it regards K4 in the current and projected hiring environment within the Industry.
