OK, how do we "go above Wells"? If there is no way to do so, is it still irresponsible to talk of decertifying the Teamsters?

What's your point? You can quit the union anytime you want. You still have to pay the agency fees.

It is technically illegal. Congress banned it almost two decades ago. That being said, it is also illegal for NASA to use Russian engines for lift... Notice how they are still using Soyuz missions to get our astronauts up, and multiple US launch companies were using Russian engines for their rockets? It is not enforced, and nobody really cares.

Packrat, Good question,
And my point is RIGHT TO WORK means no worker can be forced into any form of "unionism, closed shop, or agency dues". So that means K4 does not have to fire you if don't pay dues. It is truly minded blowing were the K4 crew members are stuck right now. So DAN WELLS does not care about US and I say we should not care about his DUES.

WOW,
DAN WELLS, just released a letter that there are many open issues with the K4 contract that is VERY deceiving! IT WAS AN HONOR TO HEAR FROM THE K4 PILOTS LAST NIGHT? If you were watching you saw DAN WELLS could not even look at the camera towards the end and abruptly stop fielding questions from us. Make no mistake, the only open issue is the 24 hours of service, and DAN WELLS will not sign our T/A with anything less than 20. DAN WELLS does not care AT ALL ABOUT K4, and is trying reduce our ability to make money! I will not stand for it any longer and I will stop paying my dues as soon as I am able, and encourage every K4 crew member to do the same!

Baron,

Are you leading the charge on this? Have you notified the union that your not going to pay dues?

How do the rest of the pilot group feel? Are they saying the same thing?

It would be un-American to have to pay without representation.

Contact the office of Jimmy H. Jr.

After all, he is the one ultimately responsible for the dues collections and disbursement, and what gets done and what doesn't.

Cargo Pilot,

I can tell you that the vast majority of pilots I've spoken to in the past month agree that Dan Wells is working against us. I for one I'm looking into what it takes to stop paying dues. Dan Wells is not representing me, and I'm tired of paying somebody to work against me. Not only is he working against me, he now is outright lying to me. Probably has been for years now. Make no mistake, the duty day question is the only hold up.

CargoPirate,
Wow I was accused of being K4 management, I must say you sound a lot to me as 1224 legal. J. Hoffa is not in the game yet, but it seems D Bourne has decided to back Dan Wells and not the K4 pilot group. I was not able to stop my dues check off as I, unfortunately am not in my window to stop dues check off. It also will probably not be an issue as I am quite certain that if we don't have a contract by the time I am in my window next year we will no longer be represented or should I say MISREPRESENTED by this self servicing local.
