If you are horrible at interviewing, it would be worthwhile to get the generic stuff down from a place like Emerald Coast. Not just for K4, but for the rest of your life, it's a worthwhile education.
No Land 3,
Thanks for that info.

4 out of the 6 today busted their sim eval. Busting the hold and can't fly a raw data ils. Several of these guys had 1000s of pic time.

Brush up on your flying guys!

At Atlas there is no average. 62 hours/month is the min guarantee.

The big thing is if you are 747 or 767. Unlike K4, who has one pilot pay rate, the pay rate on the 767 is terrible, and much lower than the bad pay rates on the 747.

Not good you wonder where they must have come from that they can't fly even with all that pic

I think the problem is that nowadays, with glass cockpit airplanes very little hand flying is being done and even the head work and spatial visualization is left to the box. You don't exercise those brain cells unless you make that effort.

Even during training very little "raw data" flying is accomplished or required and during the check as well.

A good scan requires regular practice without the F/D, A/T and A/P.

Leading up to my interview, I hand flew with raw data as much as I could, it really payed off in the sim. Curious, the guys that busted, were they Ejet guys?

I don't know their equipment but the report I got was horrible. Several went full scale and one even got a gpws and didn't go around.

The sim don't lie.

Jeez that's rough. I would think if you are currently flying and you know you have an interview you might just click the AP/FD off just a little bit more often to save you a potential pink slip

Default Interview written tests

Anyone know what the written tests are about at K4?
I am told it's aptitude and personality!?
Someone said to read technical stuff, Jepps, FAR's etc
What's the reality?
