Kalitta Air now accepting FO applications
#3452
The last alternate for the last bid was 55ish on the FO seniority list for December. That would put it all the way down to 135 and there was 142 people on December's seniority list for FO's.
edit:It would be a little less then that because I didn't take into account the 76 seniority list. But conservatively people with less then 1 year seniority could be awarded a captain bid. When they get through training with the backlog and need to hire more FO's is anyone's guess though.

If that's true, and they put out a vacancy bid for 80 upgrades, and going off of the seniority list and bypasses of last bid...damn near everyone on the seniority list right now as an FO would get it.

I know you were hired about a year ago, where does that put you number-wise on the fo list?

Great. Now I'm going to have to hear these guys fresh off IOE preach about becoming captains with their extensive international experience. Should be very annoying after about the 8th hour enroute.
Aside from that, nice to see K4 doing so well, hope we can keep it up!

You wouldn't see me with anything close to what you described, and hopefully that leaves me in the majority.

Or you could take the eight hours in route to mentor the new guys(myself included) and help them prepare for the upgrade...idk just a thought.

When new FO's are sending text's during lineup and running the lineup checklist or turning other pilots in for using VS when that was the clearance, I'm not sure (at least those two guys) that they're interested in mentoring. They've got other things in mind.
