My favorite is the one that shows where to fit the 1911!
Any link to the video? Couldn't find it.

Amish made, best prices and last a lifetime. You can also switch buckles. Recommend you use at training what you will wear to work, you'll be more comfortable with it.

I was a big Saddleback fan until a few months ago when they jacked their prices up. Their stuff was always pricy, but to me it was worth it. In September the prices went up significantly, and for me the products aren't worth the new prices.

That being said, I do love my Tow Belts from Saddleback. Plenty stiff enough for carrying, and should last the rest of my career.

u order the 1/4 inch thickness on the belt or the "normal" thickness? I've read the thicker leather won't fit loops of a dress/uniform pants... thoughts?

How to knock off a bag:

If you search "Saddleback large bag review" you'll find a bunch.
They did raise their prices significantly recently. I believe that serves two purposes: increased production costs and to make the bag more exclusive. Once they got some publicity I believe demand outstripped ability to produce.

Funny, I never knew this but the owner lives in my city in TX (disclaimer... I don't get anything from plugging these bags). They have a pretty "Western/TX/Indiana Jones" look and I happen to that. They weather well and get a great worn patina.

Because the belts are pure leather they will naturally wear with holster use but it doesn't look bad. I routinely carry the Sig P229 (.40) or P238 (.380) depending on where I'm going and what I'm wearing. And since my wife carries the P238 we can exchange magazines during a prolonged firefight. Although she does prefer her AR with Hello Kitty stock. She's also a muscle car girl (I know, lucky guy right? Except for that Baltimore Ravens thing mental illness).

Product review: sense of scale with the bags...includes the Colt 1911

I haven't had any issues with the 1/4" belt fitting on my uniform pants. I also wear it to the range with my jeans. Hope that helps.

Thanks! Do you only have the Old Bull Belt, or do you have the Tow Belt too? I'm just curious what the difference is. Also the Sig P229 is a great gun!

Consider Barbed Wire Leather's double thick belt http://www.bwleather.com

Got one 15 years ago and wearing it now.

Just have the old bull in black. I'm still laughing about the B6 uniform belt. I was able to snap it in half the day it was issued. I've been wearing the old bull with my uniform since day one - had it before I was hired. He's got the measurements on the website. Be sure and check before ordering to get the right size. I had the 36" but then went to the 34" when I lost about 15 pounds. The 36 still fit but I had a good amount of the belt tucked into belt loops (if memory serves I was on the second to the last hole). Nice thing is they space the holes smaller than your standard belt so to me it's never too loose or too tight. I'm not an FFDO, just a TX CHL holder that shoots fairly regularly. I also fly GA to remote SW TX so I'm carrying out there for survival purposes. I've also been jumped by coyotes in our neighborhood while walking dogs. I conceal carry fairly often. And no I don't carry Long guns to Walmart
