Sheep and oxen? You mean he drove the passengers out, too?

All three airlines I have worked for prohibited earbuds or headphones in the terminal, maybe you should check your FOM. I was just trying to save the dude a carpet dance, what’s your excuse?

Umm, because as professional pilots we usually are so incredibly brilliant that we only use half our brain to do our job perfectly, comply with all regulations and our own company’s FOM that it frees up the other half to also define what’s acceptable and professional for everybody else.

Just one of the many reasons divorce is so low in our profession. We’re amazing. At all times. Just ask us.

Omg! Please wear your giant Bose in uniform in the terminal! Don't stop!
What else am I going to laugh at on my walk through the terminal? The Express Jet guy in black crocs? The 324lb UAL guy running to make a commute with his shirt un-tucked AND hauling a backpack, face tomato red with sweat pouring down face? (pretty sure he was 10 gates from a heart attack)
What about the Mesa kid with a cut bicycle tire AS A BELT. His belt was a bicycle tire. A rubber tire. For a belt. In his uniform. You can't possible make that up.

Don't take this away from me!

Refer to your FOM when Jumpseating whilst off duty, or traveling to/from base in uniform.
