Cool

A few years back the Chief Flight Instructor at the flight school I was attending was a furloughed Delta Pilot. He (FO) flew his last trip before the furlough with his father (CA). Not sure if he was recalled before his father had to retire. Sure hope they got to fly the line again.

FYI -

Barry Schiff TWA (Ret) flew his final flight before retiring with his son Brian I believe. Barry and Brian flew the 767 at the time.

I flew with my father many times at NWA. He liked it because it was the only time I HAD to do what he said.

F9 has 3 husband wife combos, 2 of which are both in the cockpit- then the other is CPT/FA combo. We had a few father son combos but since they are both CPTs now they dont get to fly togeteher anymore. Oh yes- two brother combos one CPT/CPT and the other CPT/FO.

Sweet deal.

I believe that TWA had a 727 crew where the entire flightdeck was related. I dont remeber names though?

My old man is a PFE for Kalitta and I was thinking about going there so I could fly with him. That might be a little wierd though because he is a PFE and cannot upgrade. Eventually I would be CAPT and running the show, wierd th think about.

I have flown with my Dad at CAL a few times... Its a really neat experiance. Its a good time to play it cool and see how long it takes the FAs to realize that your related

I know of a few other Father / Son teams at CAL. There was one guys who Dad actually did some of his IOE.

There was a flight about a year ago where all 5 crewmembers were related. I think the pilots were Father and Son, and the CA's wife, her sister and a cousin were in the back (if I recall correctly)
