Default Any father sons fly together?

Has any father and son or brothers ever flown together on a 121 flight? Is it even allowed?

I've seen articles in magazines about it before, so yes. It may depend on the airline though.

I have heard of a emb cap at skyw who flys with his father. His father I belive was and early out delta 767 cap. He flys the emb just to fly with his son for a few years.

We had a MD-11 father/son flight at FDX about a year ago.

I read an article once about a navy A-6 intruder...the same tail number was flown by aviators from three generations of the same family from Vietnam to the 1990's.

One of the guys in my newhire class (UAL 2000) bid the FE on the 727 so he could get an upgrade to FO 767 to fly with his dad who was going to retire within a few years...don't know if it worked out or not.

Back in my days at Horizon, there were two F-28 Captains...Steve Martin and George Burns. Imagine that over the PA when they flew together.

We have a bunch of dad/son's that fly together on a regular basis at SWA. Once such guy was in my new hire class and flys with his pops as much as he can since he is retiring later this year. Good for them...

SWA has had a Father with three sons and a son in law as pilots plus a daughter as a flight attendant.
We've also had a Daughter, her step Mother, her step Mother's husband, and the Husband's brother all flying together in various combinations, and the Daughter was the most senior of the lot!
We've also got what could be the only black Father/Daughter team who have flown together and a bunch of married couples. I once flew with a trio of flight attendants composed of a guy with his current wife plus his former wife (and they weren't even from NASA).
Nepotism isn't frowned upon, it is celebrated.

To the best of my knowledge they are still there if we are speaking of the same people. I also know another father/ son team. The father was a former chief pilot who bid to a specific city and swapped his senior schedule with a jr captain to fly with his son. That had to have been great.
