Exactly. Stockpiling and organic means of supply.
Other than in an occasional coin op machines in a few restrooms..Condoms used to be relatively limited in point of sale opportunities. Pretty much drugstores, and even then maybe behind the counter.
Now they are in virtually every kind of retail setting.....and even in jumbo packs in the big box stores.....with ads on national TV.
The country has the same opportunity here to reclaim our lives and protect our good health.
We just have to decide its more important to allocate the resources on it instead of wasting them on things like being the worlds policeman and shovel ready jobs that arent.

so the perfectly healthy young people and seemingly less vulnerable that die from it.. F them, right? We’re looking at 200,000 deaths in the usa with present stay-at-home measures. Open everything back up and watch that number grow exponentially. Do you honestly think any other country will let our planes land with a virus blowing up unabated in our borders? The economy ain’t coming back if you open everything back up, gents. And neither are our jobs. This will only stop being a major disruptor when a vaccine is developed.
once about 60% of the us is vaccinated, or has gotten the cvirus and survived, then the transmission rate will go down to <1.0, and the whole country can go back to normal. In the meantime, those who we are tested and have already had the disease, and those with the vaccine can move about freely, without getting infected or infecting others. But, there are not tests to see if you've had the cvirus in the past, and no vaccine, yet. A vaccine is 12-18 months away, minimum.
on a lighter note, i’m glad you are recovering and i hope your sense of taste and smell return.

I feel like most aren't looking at this disease with prospective, and the entire planet is in a giant overreaction. In 6 months this virus has killed less than 100,000,meanwhile in that same time 4,500,000 have died of starvation and another 5,000,000 of preventable diseases, the difference is those are old problems and the media doesn't care about them, meaning people don't freak out about them because it's not on some kind of screen 24/7.....

Colorado governor hit it on the head...
"The greatest generation stormed the beaches at Normandy and families turned in their pots and pans to be melted down. We’re asking you to give up getting a haircut or mani pedi for two weeks and to stay at home."
Agreed the country needs to come together.

That generation had more values and a sense of duty in the community than today’s. Unfortunately nowadays a lot of losers out there that don’t give a damn about anything or anyone.

Hmmm, can we get back to work then? Wheels of change are slow when it comes to letting out the ropes on this one....but I suspect we will start to see a significant downgrade in the outlook and opening of the economy as both data is revised, the pandemic is understood more fully and people have been exposed.

I actually think it's right about the same, just the ugliness of the narcissism and pettiness is broadcast far more easily these days via the socials.
