He made a joke (and a valid point) and kept it moving. You’re the one who sounds like you need to go breathe into a paper bag. 🙄

Maybe yearly psych screenings with a robust minimum threat assistance program would be a good idea? Quality mental care and a mutual fund could protect those who were deemed unfit maintaining pay while on leave.

The current system of leaving people out in the cold discourages self disclosure to put it mildly.

Not a bad idea. I especially like the pay protection aspect. S&P index to keep politics and emotion out of it. Your kind of crossing your fingers on some of these LTD policies with mental health issues so that would provide a backstop to some extent.

An FA introduced herself as The Coke Machine the other day.

As for porn on the flight deck, I haven’t seen any since 2007. It used to be funny to find it, but that’s gone. I did have a captain show me some pretty candid pics which he then stated were his wife (I know), but I have never seen anyone viewing anything of the sort. Must be AMers.

Well, according to my SWA buddies (N=2), “it’s pretty common around here…” Direct quote.

Haha, had a guy do that when I was noob FO. He then offered a 3-way on the overnight... I passed but did counter that while I wasn't into anything involving dudes I could take care of the lady on my own if that would help. He took it in stride.

Guys, let's please not discuss operational details related to JS access (or KCM access).
