I’ve thought all along that while we should have a KCM line we should still be screened. With each passing day I trust all of you just a little bit less. And America today more than justifies my way of thinking.

You did, you just didn't realize it. The AME is supposed to asses your general state of mind, and probe more deeply if anything seems amiss.

We also get a bit of a stress test at sim time.

KCM is a cooperative between ALPA, AFA, A4A, and TSA. Seeing as Delta FA’s are not union, let alone AFA, maybe that puts them specifically at jeopardy as opposed to all FAs. Especially since the AFA will defend their members’ use of KCM.

Yeah right, so only “Delta FA’s” won’t be allowed through KCM because of some bizarre single incident. This is such a stupid thread. I know we’re pilots and think we’re special, but some of you are so petty sometimes.

They could boot the FAs and replace them with TSA. As it is now TSA simply walks through just showing a badge without any database check. What kind of security is that?

What a nuanced and effective screening my deaf 87yo AME is performing

A4A would probably step in for them.

After all, DL pours quite a bit of money into A4A and DL would not want their FA's to feel left out because of a lack of a union and *gasp* unionize.

Once established, the business end of KCM is a federal program.

DAL is probably the only entity who could pull the plug on their FA's participation... AFA cannot, and TSA certainly cannot deny them based on being non-union.
