Cqheadset.com has a similar headset for a fraction of the price but with sound tubes as opposed to wires. I love mine.
Did this used to be the quiet technologies Halo?

I was wondering the same thing. That headset looks EXACTLY like the QT Halo (which I used for years and always liked). The QT guy still has a website, so it's making me think they stole his design.

.I went to his site as well. Looks like a rip off. I used the Halo for a while it was okay in the RJ. The guys support was ok, but his personalities were interesting.

I've been using the Telex Airman 8 on the 320 for a few years. It's a worthwhile upgrade over the 850, which I was using previously. Better ANR, more comfortable, and its construction is definitely more robust.

I was using the telex 750 in the Bus and i had to crank the volume up and then the captain would just talk with the boom down and I’m like huh? What? You want flaps? Tell them what? So I brought my DC pros and I will not go back to wearing anything else. Can’t even hear the engines but I think that’s kinda important so I put one slightly off my ear to hear them. Above 18 people take them off and go on the speaker.

Bose are great.

I've a sneaking suspicion fellow pilots are using the Bluetooth to link up with podcasts and audiobooks.

Good noise cancelling (a must on the 737), decent construction, excellent customer service, decent battery life. Comfortable, too.

I have the QC-25. It works well. Light weight and I use it in the back as well. The Mike gain can be adjusted so it gets rid of the static the other guy hears with the A20.

No complaints on the Proflight 2 either. I did get these rechargeable batteries for mine. I did a lot of research on which ones are good buys and these seem to work well. I get around 20 to 25 hours from a charge. They used to sell a really small and sleek USB charger that just did two batteries. I put the charger in the little pouch that comes inside of the Proflight case. Although, using lithium batteries means you get no warning from the Proflight the batteries are low. It just quits.

Edit - Here is the two battery charger ....not sure why it is $35...I paid around $14 on Amazon.
