When turning wrenches years ago, a friend/mentor asked me how much I was going to charge an aircraft owner for a particular job.
When I said $15 per hour (which I thought was fair all around) his response was "Don't be a dumbass, you'll bring down the bar for everyone."
So I made it $25 and learned a valuable lesson.

Yes... Between stock buybacks and bonuses to pilots costs being marginal (even when counting pilots on reserve to cover a flight) in the overall equation of operating jets - they're absolutely sustainable. Now is the best time for common people to end the investor and corporate dirtbag classes once and for all... With any luck it will start in one industry and spread to them all.
