Just lost your Delta audience. The ER actually has a very nice cockpit

My rigged comment was in reference to your pre-trial-loss-excuse ahead of the trial even starting. Sounds familiar, something about rigged elections comes to mind.
Missed the faux news award update. Justice reigns, I guess.

One could quite easily argue that the aggrieved party didn't trust the jury either. Their original damages request was $1.6 billion.

Presumably it was a straightforward civil damages case. The compensatory damages sought would've needed some paperwork to prove.

So the winner in this case was deprived a huge amount, but they took it because juries are a complete gamble. That's a problem.

They admitted they not only lied but suppressed those in the organization that wanted to tell the truth. There aren’t really thoughts on that. That’s facts

Damages agreed to of $787 million is just under half of $1.6 billion in the suit. Wish I was the mouse in the corner listening to the thinking. I wonder if they though that they should split the difference, which would be $800 million, minus some little something.

That's precisely what happened. FOX knew they were going to lose. Even more painful, they were also about to watch their on-air personalities, and executives admit, on the stand, they lied to their viewers. They offered up half with the incentive of payment now, vs apeal after appeal and then full payment a decade or more from now.

Dominion got half now and the time value of money. Lottery winners make this choice almost every time. It's hard to fault either for cashing that check.

I think this is spot on. The PR damage from having all the top fear porn peddlers having to admit they lied and caused a riot would (hopefully) tank their business. Now they can say it was ambiguous deep state blah blah words to keep their customers tuned in. (All media companies are garbage before the hotheads chime in with 4th grader logic of “they do it too”)

Hey hubcapped aren't you the one on the ukraine thread spouting nonsense that has now been debunked since all the Intel leaks showed the world the big picture?

People in glass houses.
