Now the DOJ opening criminal case against Boeing again. There are mucho distractions and expenses for Boeing currently.

I don’t see Delta receiving the Max order. Too much liability they open themselves up to with the damned plane

Hopefully they convert the orders to a widebody Boeing. 787 is really the only missing piece in our MRO rights, and would replace the 765 nicely.
Delta bought and actively has max 10 sims at its training center. Pretty sure they intended to take the plane.

Not arguing your overall point, but it's a Max 9 sim. There are no 10 sims yet

2027 would mean Congress would have to push the EICAS requirement AGAIN? I doubt there is the political will.

The took the bluff pretty far by buying a sim and putting a training curriculum together.

Ignore Cappie Bradshaw. He lives in a world of his own making...

I'm sure Delta will just delay the retirement of the 757s that much longer. No big deal.

Can't imagine any 787s making their way to Delta at this point. That ship seems to have sailed long ago. A bunch of A350s, some A330s, A321NEOs, 737MAx, and A220s are the future. 717 and 757 hang out for another 10 years or until the next black swan. A350s replace the 767-3ER.

I suspect BA threw it in as part of the deal. The sim will be sold/returned when the options go away.

Save this post. I predict that Delta will never operate a 737 MAX 10.

No 737 MAX at all unless they acquire some currently operating ones in a fire sale from a defunct airline.

Yes, please ignore me. Defintely listen to the CRJ "phlyer" who has less time in the airlines than I have inside the marker. I'm sure he knows what's what.
