These threads are heavily biased towards people who are doing better than average. For every 1 pilot that is willing to work their schedule/system in order to earn more/work less, there are 6-9 pilots who are content with just flying their awarded schedule, making closer to 1000 x rate. Of course for those pilots there is nothing in particular to boast about, so you see a lot less posts around the true average.

100% exactly this...chock full of exceptions, not rules.

Indeed. Knuckle dragging min sked (mostly) slacker sled dog. Won't bother including DC, PD, PS, what have you/other items, just flight pay. Rarely pick up, maybe 1-2 times every 3 months. Had 1-2 VDO. 16-19 days off a month, 6-12 overnights per month, too lazy to go back and do the math. Hub dweller, 8 year UAL NB FO;

237K flight pay
715 block
1005 credit
