High Time Flyer here at SW. Denver Captain with about 10 years in the left seat and 5 weeks vacation. Not sure on the final numbers but block for the year will probably come in somewhere around 950 and of W2 of about 1.1 million. 219k of that was the Retro Bonus. Definitely worked harder this year than years in the past although I have been "playing the game" since I was a senior F/O in BWI back in 2012. It's crazy but it is not about the money...it’s about the game....which I love. Ironically I'm sure I am not the highest paid at this airline. I know personally a lot of guys who are smarter and work harder than I do.

Grz definitely blew that number out of the water. His board is unblocked. Anyone can look at it.
In any case, cheers and thanks for posting.

You can tell a month away when that guy is going to call in sick. He ELITT into a 4 day then calls in sick for it. . I am not against using sick time , but no one should be getting in trouble for using it. He blatantly abuses it.

Oh definitely. He is unapologetic about it. I have talked to him about his strategy (a long time ago, prior to the premium sick bank giveback). He just burns it and will be zero when he retires soon. He, along with a few others are on my evidence exhibits when and if I ever get called on a sick pull (not that I would in my base). For all BGs faults, he is very open and honest about what he is doing and doesn't play any shady games. Its transactional for him and I honestly respect that. Dude made more money in July than I made in 2016.
