He still has another year to go then.

"It's now or never! Send even more money, we need it more than ever! We have one year left to pass LEPF!

EXPERIENCE MATTERS"

I even wrote their next email for them.

There was a previous ethics complaint against him for misuse of campaign funds. If he assumes the Democrats will take control next fall, such things won’t be so easily set aside.

This is magnificent. I can't wait for the next "NOTAM" from the EPAS and LEPF nutbags.
Keep the faith!

There will be zero traction on anything related to the pilot retirement age before, during, and after the next election cycle. Their plan to get it passed via reconciliation is totally unserious. And now their main shill in the House is a lame duck.

Dude blew his wad when he asked Trump to pay him back by nominating that clown Jeff Anderson to ICAO. Now Trump has ghosted him, and Anderson's nomination has flatlined. In the end, he didn't do a damn thing to move the needle after all the cash the geezers sent him. AMF

Be nice if both sides god forbid be honest and say it’s about money and not try to hide under the skirt of “safety”

It’s about safety for everyone.
It’s about money for those who…after enjoying the benefits of those before them retiring at 65…want two more years in their top pay position.
Come to think of it, “money” isn’t the correct word, “greed” is.

Come on man…

The Jr guys want to Sr guys off the roster for the exact same reason, moar seniority -> money (greed)

The “safety” argument BS is the only thing that’s honestly old and needs to be retired

If both sides honestly cared about safety we could fix that right quick by changing how we do recurrent rides, both in difficulty, making them less predictable, and making popping a ride an immediate termination.

Yet both sides crying “safety” aint about all that now are they 😆

Its 100% about equity of career progression (ie. taking advantage of what those older had, instead of the older ones trying to change the rules to everyone younger's detriment despite gaslighting otherwise)...but career progression has a direct line to money.

There is a better safety argument in the "against" regarding cognitivie decline than there is the "for" regarding experience (or lack thereof in newhire major airline pilots).

Yeah no..... One bad day in the sim should not be grounds for immediate termination.

But that is similar logic to those for 67 advocating for single pilot ops after they lost the battle during the FAA reauthorization debate.

lol

Thought we were about safety 100%??

I mean you can’t preform in a sim, when you know the date it’s going down well ahead of time, how can I safely expect you to execute a real life V1 cut/fire/single engine aprch situation?

Real world the best place (by a large margin) we can weed out people who are not safe is in recurrent, but both sides don’t want that because they are full of **** when it comes to not just talking/BSing about “safety” …but actually being about safety
