I was one of those who got hammered throughout 2000's, and I don't want 67. As I stated many times, I want all the coots senior to me gone. I want out early and don't want to be stuck with crappy seniority any longer than I absolutely have to....

No need to get all cute with trying to justify anything unless comedy and cheese are the name of the game, a'la "we need to protect the millennials from experiencing any hardships we endured... "

*this ignores very real family medical issues, but i’m not sure very many age-67 advocates want universal healthcare, either*

You still need money for that, when you have to travel and pay cash for care in another country because the wait list for State provided care is too long.

Does private healthcare not suck bigly for pricing everyone out of needed healthcare and drugs? Is our system good if you're one hospital visit away from poverty? It's not as black and white as "guhbment bad, private sector good".

it isn’t just fiscally inefficient. the health outcomes are worse.

private health insurance is simply rent-seeking middlemen providing literally zero value. negative value, in truth.

my government does a lot of good. the fact that you think “government sucks” as a rule indicates that you’ve not truly considered the alternative
