Do you realize the LEPF PAC only paid out $8,000 in the first half of 2025? All of it went to Troy Nehls, Marsha Blackburn, and Ted Cruz. That's it. Three recipients. Three. One of them (Nehls) is subject to an ethics investigation, and another (Blackburn) is running for governor and is completely checked out.

We will never know where the money wasted on--er, donated to--LEPF's "general (slush) fund" went. That's where the lobbyist fees, food and drink, travel/hotel/administrative "costs" are pulled from.

I'm sure every expenditure is legitimate. lol. But if I contributed, I sure would want an accounting. Spoiler alert: there will be no accounting.

But thanks for helping elect the next governor of Tennessee!
Thanks for the update.

Let it go. There’s no pilot shortage anymore. Move along greedy [mod edit].

What I’ve noticed is the ones who don’t actually need mentoring handle it themselves live during the sequence. Just like most normal people.

The ones who do need mentoring, or a post-sequence debrief, are never going to take it well, no matter their age.

Eventually the Minnesota Vikings will win their first Super Bowl.
It just realistically won’t be happening in the next year or two.

International Consensus

• ICAO working papers (Canada WP106, IATA WP349) show broad support for raising the pilot retirement age.

• Seven of ten ICAO “Class 1” Council states — representing nearly half of global passenger traffic — are already on record in favor. The U.S. could become the eighth.

EPAS Leadership Team
I found the snippet about 7/10 being in favor misleading. It sounds like Brazil, UK, New Zealand, Canada, and Australia are ready to vote now to raising the age.

However, according to WP/291 (dated 29 Jul 25), presented and sponsored by above countries, they believe more data needs to be collected. There are inconsistencies with data collection according to the aviation medicine survey. Section 3.3 ends with suggesting a re-examination of raising the pilot age after a few years of data collection.
It will be presented before the IATA WP/349 (which also suggests data collection) the LEPF is praising on Thursday.

Sounds like you are a terrible mentor.
