The conversation was about the last ME oil being delivered by now, and oil not trading high enough to reflect the flow being pinched off. All the flow isn’t being pinched off, and I don’t think the straight moves 20m barrels a day at $100+ oil.

Who said we should murder a few million? The area along Hormuz is sparsely populated, and by now mostly by combatants. Announce your intention, give everybody 48 hours to get inland and take out the remaining weapon sites with airbursts. Repeat as necessary until Iran recognizes the internationally recognized right of passage.
Why can’t we just keep paying 4-$5 a gallon for gas and choke their exports.
I’ve never met anyone too poor in America to stop buying beer and cigarettes.

What’s in it for them? They would only ensure their entire annihilation. These ayatollahs care about staying in power as #1. Same with the Saudi royal family for that matter. Being in power and ruling is #1. Islam for them barely makes the top 3. Which is why the Saudi prince have their underground vices for women , alcohol, and drugs.
And 15 / 19 hijackers were Saudis. Rest Jordan, Egypt, UAE. Weird. The top 4 US “allies” in the ME. Zero from Iran or Iraq.

They said the legality for the bombing campaign was Israel was going to attack and Iran response was going to be to kill people Kuwait which they did.
Trump bombed Iran to limit ability of Iran to harm more America’s than they did in response to planned Israel strikes, that Trump was not legally compelled to prevent Israel from doing.
If Israel wants to be aggressive, what do Americans prefer, a closed straight and fewer loss of American lives, or an open straight and higher death toll of American lives.

20% of production being off the market includes Saudi, Kuwait, Qatar, and UAE, all of which must export the bulk of their oil through the strait. Those countries are not capping their wells and are most certainly looking forward to the day the strait opens.

Do you think there is a world where 15/19 would be from Iran or Iraq and we wouldn’t have stopped it?
Do you think the ATF, FBI, CIA, DHS would allow 15 Russians to get away with a 9/11 over allowing 15 Canadians?

There’s an easy answer there too. You draw the line in the sand with Israel, and tell them they cannot start a war with Iran after the June bombing. That if they try, the U.S. pulls all relations with Israel, no more weapons, guns, ammo, supplies, complete pull out of support. And acting on it. Only then would Israel think twice.
Wont ever happen because AIPAC has a strong hold on our politicians, on all sides. Too much AIPAC money. So you’ll never see any motions or actions against Israel.
But that was the answer to your question. There literally should be no such thing as Israel dragging us into a war.

Whats weird we were monitoring the movements of our enemy’s and not allies?

If 9/11 was carried out by Russians or Chinese, we would not have started a war with Russia or with China. Because, you know, they have nukes that can reach us. Hard to clown a country that can slap you back in the same manner.
