As for the second part, a US intelligence analysis concluded that Tehran could withstand a naval blockade for months.

Good luck getting Americans on board for months!

I still domt get it. Here you are, asking for Americans to give the govt some more “months” to carry this through (whatever THIS is).

Yet, we attacked because Israel was going to attack anyway and we had to save ourselves from the Iranian counter attack on our bases. Um, ok? That part is over. What part of blockading continuation have anything to do with Israel attacking anymore?

Yet, we attacked because we were under imminent threat. Um, ok? That part is over. Fordow, Natant, and whatever that 3rd place were obliterated. And more obliteration since Feb 28. It is clear and obvious we are not under any imminent threat anymore.

So. Your words, for Americans. “To see it through.”

To see just what, exactly, through?
Lemme get this straight… you don’t want to press a position on a terrorist sponsoring Country because they may retaliate? Also a Country with nuclear ambitions.

Theres a reason I don’t go to bars with other pilots with your mentality. When sh!t hits the fan you’ll cower like a bunch of weaklings.

You gonna head over there? I bailed from the AF a couple years ago so I’m not. My buddies are, unfortunately. How many times did you deploy?

I wasn’t destined for military service as I was the first member of my family in history to go to college. My fathers dying wish ( WWII/Korean veteran) was for me to go to college out of HS. It was also pre 9/11. By the time 9/11 came I was already a pilot too old to try flying for the military . I did attempt to join the NYFD post 9/11 but their requirements to have paramedic qualifications was a hurdle.

Is that you’re only retort?

Thank you for your service.

Feel better now?

If you don't like the job....don't sign up.

(speaking as an F-16 vet whose grandfather was a WWI instructor pilot(Curtis Jenny), father who was a WW2 Marine grunt then West Point grad and Korean war vet(26 years), father-in- law ....Korea fighter pilot and 2 tours Vietnam as fighter pilot (36 years)..... brother(F-15) squadron commander....and sons who were pilots..all vets. All were/are proud of their service but none groveled or pandered for accolades as you continue to do.

Somehow you think your service affords you special dispensation, insight, accolades or folks on APC should kowtow to your "service" and superiority? GMAFB....might I suggest....it doesn't? You put your pants on one leg at a time as do/did we.

You need to get over yourself.

Thank you for you and your families service…
my father lied about his age and signed up underage for WWII, his best friend in the military ended up being his brother in law. ( my mother’s brother) I seems that was a pretty common type story from the greatest generation.

Can’t support your sides dying narrative so it’s down to “ when did you serve?” Got it…

Hope you were able to enjoy last weeks market gains. Job numbers were good.

I wasn’t really retorting anything. It’s just weird how a dude who was never in the military is accusing dudes theoretically of “cowarding like a bunch of weaklings” when “**** hits the fan”. What are you going to be doing stateside? Paying your taxes and hanging out where there’s not war and watching it go down on TV? Lmao.

I thank your dad for his Korea service (my granddad was in the USMC as in infantry officer. The Frozen Chosin) I’m glad his dream of his son going to college came true. Not being sarcastic. We stand on the shoulders of giants.

no buck, track the conversation. The crazy loony guy that just posted 69 times in a row spitting partisan vitriol just said that people that dont agree with his position will “cower like weaklings”. Many of these people (myself included) risked our lives in the military already. Can you not see how ridiculous it is to hear something like this from some civilian that never had the courage to serve?

come on man, be better
