Are you SERIOUS? I mean I am speechless. He was a SCAB captain and said THAT to a union member? Ok, I'm going down to my heavy bag so my wife's cat doesn't end up a point after attempt........

OMG how dare him!!! I see how it works...it's ok to deny him a jumpseat or any other privilege, but when he returns the favor it's outrageous, and he all of a sudden doesn't have that right. Interesting. If you dish it out, I would be prepared to receive it as well. I'm not pro-union or anti-union, just an observer.

Is the scab pilot denying j/s simply out of revenge and bitterness (and possibly self-loathing for his career altering decision)?

Or is the scab pilot simply a genuine cornhole?

Who knows. Sounds more like stroking his ego and hiding behind his cockpit door, to me.

I'm a bit disturbed that 1 in 6 members of this forum would deny a Skybus or Virgin America pilot the j/s just because of their employer.. Sad.

So when you guys deny jumpseat to somebody, you must run to the internet and post on a website how you kick somebody off.. WOW!

I have never denied a jumpseat to scab.......However, when SCABS show up we often are below the allowable O2 limit for the extra person in the cockpit or the belts on the jumpseat look frayed and for safetys sake I better have it deffered.

They have never been denied. The problem is there is never a usable seat. Too bad.
