I'm a bit disturbed that 1 in 6 members of this forum would deny a Skybus or Virgin America pilot the j/s just because of their employer.. Sad.
1 in 6.. What is really sad..... Is the pay at those outfits!!!!!!!!!! |

I frankly think its worse when a well established union from a well established airline votes to accept deep pay cuts, thus re-defining the pay scales of everyone smaller (including startups).. A start up with lots of promise opens up and tells its workers .. in due time you'll get paid better (and I assume their pilots will expect it), that's not so sad in my book... that's jobs. So you'd turn away a VX or SX pilot? |

CASS=Cockpit Access Security System. And a question to those who would deny a j/s for say a Gojet pilot? Do you tell them to their face that that is the reason you won't let them ride?

They have never been denied. The problem is there is never a usable seat. Too bad. |
So do you guys travel with a scab list with you? Then when someone comes to use the JS "Hey whats you name? Ok Joe Smith, hold... Nope you're on my list, and not getting on! So long sucker!"

How well did Alaska pay when they were a startup? (ok bad question, as that was the 30's), but how about Southwest. or Airtran, etc?
