. There is still time to get called I guess and nobody has said the class is full yet. Kinda strange if there is only 5 guys combined on these two sites that has been called...

If the 19th (two weeks) comes and goes and you have not heard anything, just give Mr.B a call.

Rumor has it Mr. B is a one man show. He fills the classes and then teaches the majority of them, especially in the first week. So it's reasonable that he has had ZERO time in the last week to make phone calls to the (rest of the?) Dec 3 guys. For example, a buddy in the 29 Oct class mentioned that Mr. B is still trying to get HR to load the guys in that class including family members, into the dlnet database (among others) so that they can start applying for travel and medical benefits. Of course, it's also possible that most of the Dec 3 guys aren't forum readers and his work is done for the year.
How about a poll: any recent hires at DAL get the phone call to start training with less than 2 weeks notice?

Typically the calls go out three to four weeks before indoc class date to provide time for the traditional "two week notice" at your current job.
Mr. B is almost a one man show and as a result he makes many of his calls on the weekends in between classes. He has also been spotted working to set up the classes and ensure everything is ready for them during his off hours. Mr. B is a real Delta patriot who cares and puts in extra hours ensuring things go smoothly for the new hires.
The classes are mixed amongst different backgrounds to provide balance.
We know it is a tough wait, but there are at least 700 behind you. As I understand it we have the balance of 15-757's coming from TWA/AA, up to 20 737-700's, 9 MD90's and g-u-l-p something like 18 more 777's and these numbers are from the conservative guy.
A person hired now would be a junior lineholder on the 88 by next year and fairly senior on the 88 in NY.
