priceless

For everything else there is Airline pilot central, where you can spread rumors without making any money ( the 30 year old scotch and the rusian hookers are on you)
Your screen name says it all! Gotta love it!

For those that want the facts for themselves:

www.sec.gov
Click on Companies and other filers
CIK type in 1337183
Scroll down and click on 13F-HR

sec.gov will not let you copy and paste or I would have posted.

Enjoy your scotch and the Russian hookers, greedyairlineexec!

Type in the CIK space the hedge funds number 1337183.

They own 3,000,000. of DAL and 5,600,000. of UAUA. They have won on both ends! Genius.

There is no merger. Only manipulating the stock. They got nailed a while back on insider trading. Outrageous.
Gotta "Search for Company Filings" in EDGAR first.

Pardus just filed today to buy more of DAL totaling 7,000,000 shares.

On August 14, Pardus bought 3,000,000 today, Nov 14, he added another 4 mil.

Pardus bought no UAL shares today, of course DAL is cheap, cheap, cheap.

He is driving the price up,up,up and then sell, sell, sell.

There is no merger.

I guess you're livin' large when your scotch is older than your hookers.

Haha... I thought that one was pretty funny as well. I guess its like taking the foul in basketball.

On topic- It looks like this was a bunch of BS by the hedgefund. Now taking bets for next week's merger that WILL HAPPEN BY THE CHANGE OF ADMINISTRATION.

Bingo. Moreover I don't think the merger of two large legacy's will pass the anti-trust muster, at least without some serious divestitures. The Bush Admin will play it cool with DAL & UAL, but it will probably insist on them giving up some of that Pacific and Atlantic candy, which will make the merger a lot less attractive. Does any one remember the USAir-UAL merger try? Same thing happened there.

With the news that this is heating up due to transition of government leaders this may actually hold water. I know DL has said they would be a buyer, this may be something along the lines of DL buying and using the UAL name if the press release was correct. However, I doubt this is a done deal in any manner.

Again, the DL folks are a good group of people and I hope the best for all, with or without this talk of merger.
Press releases or "leaks" of this nature are usually the result of some hedge fund manager trying to put pressure on both United and Delta. While I think a merger is almost certain, I doubt anyone really knows which companies are in "talks"
