This is not true. New hires will be starting out in the A320 in February.

If this is true, AND I get hired, that would be GREAT!!!
Not that I'd complain (too much) flying on the 747 (sideways), or the -9, but...
Also, I don't have my FEx written (never did), how does that work?

I STILL HAVE NOT HEARD FROM UAL!!!???

FE Written: Call 800-ALL-ATPS; Go to all ATPS, do the computer based training, take the test, drive home with the results. I made a 98 without breaking a sweat. You will have to remember a couple of formulas, but it is good practice for technical questions on an interview anyway.

What I meant was how does NWA handle that? Will they PAY for me to get the written? Is it done durig initial? Or do I have to get it first, then wait for the next class?

BTW, Bucking Bar, looks like DAL is looking at UAL, not NWA.?

There is a hot rumor backed up by a lot of coincidences with NWA & their ALPA unit. All there is to the Comair deal is an acknowledgement of a lack of buyers for an airline which has no value outside of its' Delta code share. United's rumor is fueled by the same Pardus stock pump from a few weeks ago.

The down side of being the prettiest girl at the dance is having everyone talking about who is going to get her into bed.

You know what, I highligted the wrong thing. I meant to say they couldn't work you 21 days in one month.

They will reimburse you if you take it prior to class or they will pay for it once in class.

Having your FE written completed is not a requirement to apply, therefore I would assume that everything is taken care of by NWA. I believe they will train 747 SO's for the written, as well as administer it.

Dangit Superpilot92, you just beat me!

so does that mean the recalled pilots have been released from their seat lock? my buddy says they can't do this until all recalled pilots have had the opportunity to bid the 320. that is also what a friend of mine who is in training told me too.

things may have changed.
