How long is the FTD/SIM training. Time, hours, etc.
Thanks!
If you get the ER, you will get a PIC type rating on the B757/B767. The FTD/SIM training is almost exactly a month long, 2-3 day breaks about every 5 days. I went home on the breaks - positive space passes made it hassle-free.

You also now get a full type rating in the 737.

They started doing that so they could put a third pilot on the South American turns. It will be one heck of a day line.

Same for domestic 75/76.

Sounds like the MD-88/90 is the only one without a PIC type here.

Hey Balloon,

You still thinking JFK ER? I've been saving my pennies to buy you that beverage!

Have you set up your DeltaNet account yet? It's been good to be able to look at the various bid packages. It looks like the trips in SLC are generally more commutable then LAX but I'm guessing that it will be quicker for a line in LA.

How do you do this? You are in the 17th class correct? Am I missing something here? How are you getting on and seeing the bid packages before being hired?

I'm already typed in the 73...That one of the reasons I'm hoping for the LAX 73N - might make the transition that much easier!
