Any word on when the remaining flowbacks at Eagle will be recalled? How is their relative seniority compared to the other furloughees?

With 1200 more to recall does that mean that the next hire at AA is still in high school or college? Or are only a small fraction of the 1200 actually coming back because of other employment, etc?

Your guesses are as good as mine. The deeper we go, though, historically the higher the bypass rate.

with the age skew at AA, there will be some amazing hiring numbers years down the road.

I hope you guys do as good of a job as protecting your scope as you have been. Then young aviators will have a real airline to work at some day. Did you hear what is happening at UAL? Aer Lingus and UAL are to make a new airline. Not to use UAL employees or aircraft. BA has Open Skies and you have Eagle.

Your next contract is not just for you.

Good luck

#s are in. March will have two recall classes, the first one being March 4 for 10 pilots. Second class TBD.

Feb 11 recall class is complete, 39 total recalls and 8 MLOAs. Only 8 "pure" recalls, the remaining 23 were previous deferrals who elected to come back.

Yeah, they hire in a few years, I could get in at the ripe old age 25 or 26. Just might see that left seat before I get gray hair.....

Tilton's new fiasco I don't think intends to use either UAL or Aer Lingus employees, but Aer Lingus airplanes only. I don't know how much more of a beating UAL pilots are going to take before they burn the company down.

If AA does hire, be prepared to sit on reserve FOREVER. Bypass pilots numbering in the hundreds will be spilling back over the course of months or years. That is, if we do not stagnate and not recall anyone for a spell. It could get ugly fast.

Might be a good gig for a single guy or gal that wouldn't mind actually living in NYC or MIA. The other good part is that FO pay beats the CA pay at any regional.

If you are married, you may as well file the divorce papers the same day you get the congrats letter from AA HR.

JMO.
