No... Just didn't feel like typing out all the caveats of the disciplinary process.

Just another reminder that when something occurs, big or small, it is best to just keep quiet. No talking to the feds, the company, the media or other pilots. You cannot lie, but no one can compel you to speak. Also, the only lawyer that represents you is the one you pay. The association lawyers represent you as a member of the association so IMO their loyalties are split.

So... I have to ask: isn't losing your income, your reputation, your savings, and your sleep for at least a year steep enough as a penalty? What would it take to make some of you people happy that they've been punished sufficiently?
These guys are lucky we can all sit and wonder what if but they got what they deserve they are paid to do a Job... FLY the Aircraft and that means Staying in the LOOP nothing besides and emergency should distract you so much in the Aircraft that you Loose all Situation Awareness...

If you think this was a small deal like looking at a magazine I guess we will have to disagree.
Sure agree with the atc stuff though.

Thanks for checking me out though!

Magazine reader.

...And you call yourself a perfect pilot.

As a society we do not demand responsibility, just look at our politicians! That's just one example.

These guys f'ed up, REAL BAD, and I just don't have a lot of sympathy for their behavior. I think a year off is suitable, but I am surprised that this is not considered a terminable offense.

Does anyone know what type of Operating system/laptop they were using?
The computers were impounded at the gate.

I'm late to this thread and haven't read it all...are we talking about the 2 super pilots who landed a full 767 on a taxiway? You're right! Just no excuse for those bozos.. They f'ed up real bad. Should be a terminable excuse, I have no sympathy for their behavior.
