Jet time and TPIC are counted different. I have 2800+ jet, but zero TPIC. So SWA says no because the needed 1000TPIC.
Some companies don't count turo prop PIC towards TPIC. Some, if not, most do.

Does the "T" from TPIC mean turbine or total? I thought it was turbine...maybe i've had it wrong?
So, when someone says they have 800 jet pic and 1800 TPIC what r they saying? Turbofan pic vs. Turboprop pic? Or turbine pic vs piston pic?
....I thought a jet engine was a jet engine....regardless.
