Delta getting close to fleet renewal order

Many of the German forces were made up of "volunteers" from other occupied countries. Ukranians and Poles serving in France, Romanians serving in Russia, that kind of thing.
Lucky for our dads and grandpas, often they didn't put up much of a fight. Then again, sometimes they did.
Google "Ost Battalions" if you'd like to learn more about Hitler's crazy outsourcing!

We need to start a campaign: Outsourcing? THE NAZI'S DID IT!

We just need a Bear Jew to strike fear in the hearts of management.
Carl, you down? Ferd? I'm not going to ask newK because we wouldn't have anyone left to negotiate with on the company side.

There have been some wildly inaccurate numbers in this thread. Approximate costs of recent aircraft acquisitions:
The cost to "sharklet" the A 320 is around 6% of the base purchase price.
Boeing claims, due to maintenance prices, the 737 remains 2% less expensive to operate than the A320 NEO.
The A320 supply is "tight" until 2019.
Sources for the above: Aviation Week and Flight Global
Boeing's plans for narrowbody segment still unclear
- CRJ 700/900 $28,000,000
- E175 $34,000,000 (NEO figure low $40's)
- C Series $61,600,000
- 737NG $64,000,000 to $68,000
- 320 NEO $105,000,000 (orders have indicated transactions very near list price)

777-300: ? available now.
I'm just not excited about jumping on the airline version of the Prius right now. Give me the used Ford Expedition or GMC Denali equivalents.

Just had a nice long chat over dinner with a guy that was willing to sell scope for pay. He has about six years left and feels owed for all of the losses. Educated him to read section one and realize that jv's are scope too. After our little discussion he came away with a different view. I asked him to sight one time that we got a sustainable gain from marginalizing our leverage with a scope sale. It is so neat to see a lightbulb come on!
To date having these companies that exist outside of the US are the best way for DAL to take advantage of the Import/Export bank. Ever wonder why AF and the other Skyteam airlines have all of that large metal on order and we do not?........
It also helps keep that pesky debt off the balance sheet.

So 1 year or more to talk to ensure that the 59% of the airline that's over 50 and 26% over 55 don't do anything Carl or Tsquare wouldn't approve of, right?
