AA Pilot beaten by removed passengers.

What these men are accused of doing is inexcusable and as a pilot, I strongly feel they deserve the maximum allowable punishment THAT FITS THE CRIME. Anything more than that is stooping to the mentality and the level that these two men operate on.
The next time you fly to SJU I'll have you killed is not too far off from saying shoot them in their knee caps or hang them. IMHO, ofcourse.

I agree Herb's comment, while a little funny, could be taken out of context.
While you are turning the other cheek though, you weren't the one getting punched. I am guessing you must feel like you are the judge in this case or you stayed at a holiday inn express.
Some pax sucker punches you in the face a couple times for no reason? If I was armed I would have happily kneecapped him, self defense and all.

Yep, I've had this before and simply call the police/paramedics (it could be a medical issue).
But, if you're on the ground in an unavoidable forced confrontation, I believe the appropriate first response would have been a point-blank blast to the face with a halon fire-extinguisher. We all know another useful item in near proximity to the front of the aircraft that will part the hair nicely if applied cleanly in a vertical motion and that should have been the next step.
When it comes to flat out assault on crewmembers on aircraft, as far as I'm concerned, the gloves come off.

I haven't had a clip-on tie since I was about 9 years old. I've always thought they were slobby and unprofessional.
Now maybe I'll look into it (but I'll keep the real tie in my flight bag to tie off boxcutter wounds).

And apparently you've never heard of the old saying "better to be judged by twelve than buried by six!" these two are thugs, plain and simple. thugs. The same type I wish would break into my house, because between me and my husband, they would have a severe case of lead poisoning! Insert liberal, tombstone old-west comment here
